Bio Thermales is a unique eco destination with charming new affordable casitas (cabins or cottages) and natural hot springs in our rainforest preserve in the tranquil Costa Rican heartland near Aguas Zarcas and Quesada, San Carlos -- an easy 40-minute drive from Fortuna and Volcano Arenal, and 2 hours north of the San Jose airport.

Our hot springs are ancient deep Earth sources that bubble up through the rainforest floor, bringing mineral-rich waters that have been in the Earth at least 10,000 years. Rich in bicarbonates, calcium, magnesium and chlorides, but low in sulfur, our waters have an optimum natural balance of minerals for health and pure enjoyment. Our 9 organic-form pools contain only mineral water just as it flows from the Earth. The rainforest setting completes the enchantment for day visits, romantic honeymoons or vacation rentals.
