Soaking in the mineral waters in the rain forest was a unique experience ... just relax and watch and listen to the monkeys play in the trees. The Bio Thermales casita is so beautifully handcrafted, and the hospitality was the best! Bio Thermales was an experience I will not forget and a super bargain as well!

Bio Thermales is open to the public for day visits to the hot springs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $8 USD or ₡4.000 colones per adult, and $2 USD or ₡1.000 colones per child over 3 years. Evening hours may be reserved in advance only.
Day visitors are invited to use our 12 hot and cool springs pools, bathhouse, rainforest trails, volleyball court, and old-fashioned children's tree house.
Day visitors are welcome to bring your own picnics, beverages and snacks to enjoy in our 15 ranchos with grills. Ranchos near the grotto pools also have electrical outlets. For full information on our hot springs, pools, rainforest and wildlife, please see Hot Springs and Rainforest Wildlife.
Bio Thermales sells ice, soft drinks and limited variety of picnic foods and supplies. We are happy to arrange delivery service by nearby sodas -- or, with advance notice, catering of meals.
To avoid accidents, absolutely no glass containers or dishes are allowed near or in the pools.
The Bathhouse has potable drinking water, changing rooms, bathrooms, showers, and large rancho with 2 large tables, grill and electric outlets. These facilities are all wheelchair accessible, via a cement walkway that connects the Bathhouse and Grotto pools.
The Rancho Grande, located next to the Bathhouse, may be reserved in advance for events or group visits. The Rancho Grande is a 280 square foot (30 square meters) ramada of traditional rustic design and splendid views of the rainforest. It is equipped with electricity, lights, tables and chairs.
