Bio Thermales is a wonderful nature activity in itself – as a guest in one of our casitas or tree houses, you will enjoy use of our 15 hot springs pools of various temperatures, our rainforest hiking trails and splendid wildlife watching at no charge.

Our 35-acre rainforest is a natural home to capuchin and howler monkeys, sloths, colorful tree frogs, iguanas, and butterflies, including the stunning neon blue Morpho, which favors creeks and waterways. The splendid birds include scarlet and green macaws, parrots, toucans, oropendulas, and hummingbirds.

While we can't guarantee monkeys, sloth and toucans every day -- our rainforest is a natural habitat, so animals come and go as they please – guests enjoy wildlife and birdwatching from the hot springs, casita porches, tree house balconies or rainforest trails.

To benefit wildlife and the environment, we have so far planted more than 500 rainforest fruit trees, cacao orchards, vines and plants. Your visit to Bio Thermales helps sustain this precious ecosystem.
